Creative Tags API

This page will help you get started with Creative Aperture.

Creative Aperture is Vidmob's AI-powered annotation engine. Where the Creative Scoring API tells you whether a creative passes or fails a set of guidelines, Creative Aperture tells you what's actually in it — objects, scenes, text, people, emotions, colors, and other visual and semantic elements detected across the asset.

The output is a structured set of tags that describe the creative's content at a granular level. This data is foundational for teams building searchable creative libraries, performing large-scale content analysis, or generating custom performance signals tied to specific visual attributes.

When to use Creative Aperture

  • Enriching a creative library: Automatically tag thousands of assets with consistent, machine-generated labels so they're searchable and filterable without manual review.
  • Building custom performance signals: Combine annotation data with your own performance metrics to identify which visual attributes correlate with results.
  • Content auditing at scale: Detect whether brand assets (logos, colors, products) appear correctly across a large inventory.
  • Powering recommendation or personalization systems: Use detected elements to match creatives to audiences or placements.

How it works

The workflow is two steps:

1. Create a job — Submit a list of creative assets via POST /v1/creative-aperture/jobs. You'll receive a job_id.

2. Poll for results — Call GET /v1/creative-aperture/jobs/{jobId} until the status is complete, then read the annotation results from the same response.
